St. Rose School Legacy Fund

The Gift that Keeps Giving

Legacy Fund Celebrates Five Years

To ensure the long-term financial health of St. Rose School and to protect the legacy begun by our parish founders back in 1911 when they opened our elementary/junior high school, the School Boosters administer the "Legacy Fund for a Faith Filled Future" to raise money for a special school savings account, to help school operations and to assist the parish in supporting Catholic, faith-based education in our community. After it is used, the fund is replenished through parish fundraisers, additional donations and memorials. So far, we’ve raised $62,400 from 250 families, on our way to our goal of $100,000.

Legacy Fund Mission Statement

¨       To secure a well-funded savings account to assist in paying day-to-day operational costs for St. Rose School, when parish funding runs short.

¨       To obtain financial security for the long-term viability of St. Rose School as the school looks forward to a second century.

¨       To preserve the operations of the Preschool program and all eight grades (1-8) at St. Rose School.

MEMORIAL FUNDS – Of the 250 families who have contributed to our fund so far, nearly two-thirds have been memorial or estate donations in memory of a loved one, favorite teacher or priest, in celebration of birthdays, anniversaries and life hallmarks. Memorial contributions are recognized in annual Legacy Fund reports and school booster bulletins.
